1000-Lb. Sisters stars Amy Slaton and her brother Chris Combs visited a genealogist to learn if they are related to the late Queen Elizabeth II in E! News’ exclusive clip from the Nov. 26 episode.

Could Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton be part of the British Royal Family?

That’s one question Amy and her brother Chris Combs wanted to know, prompting the 1000-Lb. Sisters stars to visit a genealogist in an upcoming episode of the TLC series.

“There’s no way in hell we are kin to the Queen of England,” Chris said in an E! News exclusive clip of the Nov. 26 episode. “We’re just good old country people. But I guess we ‘bout to find out today.”

But regardless of the result, Amy—who recently celebrated her recent weight loss by trying on high heels for the first time and showing off her sexy dance moves at a Burlesque dance class—is excited for the journey through time.

“I like learning about history, regardless if it’s my family or not,” the 37-year-old said. “I really like learning history. I like learning about Harriet Truman [sic], Harriet TubmanMaya Angelou. That’s a lot of my favorite women. So I love learning that.”

And it’s not just history’s notable names she is interested in researching, adding, “Not only that, just like dinosaurs and stuff like that I can get down with, too.”

Once Amy and Chris sat down with genealogist Vickie Fields, the sibling pair discovered where their British roots are actually from.

“The furthest back I was able to get your family was this guy Hugh Kirkwood,” Vickie shared, “who came over from the U.K. in the 1700s. And if you look right here, it talks about his service in the war.”

Although the discovery didn’t mark them as royal, it did grant Amy another special distinction.

“He actually was wounded in the Revolutionary War,” she continued. “With that information, and a lot of proof, you can join the Daughters of the American Revolution. You have the pedigree to do it.”

Shocked and excited, Amy emphasized her realization to Chris, saying, “I’m a pedigree b—h.”

“No wonder why we always fight,” she quipped through laughter. “We come from a long line of soljies.”

Though Tammy wasn’t along for the trip through the family’s lineage, she’s been celebrating other milestones in her life—including her latest health journey, as she’s shed 500 pounds. For more on Tammy over the past four years, read on.
